I never set out to be a politician. I’m a businessman and a father. But I
cannot sit on the sidelines while the radical Left brainwashes our children
into hating the very country that gave me everything.
I am on a mission to revive the American Dream right here in the state where I
was born and raised.

When I was growing up in Cincinnati, my father gave me a piece of advice that
set the course for my entire life. He told me:
“Vivek, if you’re going to stand out, then you might as well be outstanding.”

That wasn't just a pep talk. It was a philosophy. It was the belief that in
America, your success isn't limited by your origins, but by the size of your
ambition and the strength of your work ethic. It’s the idea that we don’t seek
"equity" through mediocrity; we seek excellence through merit.
That is exactly what I want for Ohio.
For too long, we’ve been told to settle. We’ve been told that the American
Dream is a relic of the past, or worse, something to be ashamed of.I’m running
for Governor because I refuse to accept that.
