Hi there,
I’m Berna, Aaron’s wife.

I don’t usually send emails like this, but today, we’re celebrating my
husband’s birthday, and the occasion calls for it.

I've known Aaron for over thirty years. We met at a card game hosted by
mutual friends the day after Thanksgiving in 1994.

Aaron’s mother says he came home at two in the morning and told her he'd
met his wife. (She still tells that story!)

Fast forward to today, watching Aaron run for governor and stand up for
people who are going through exactly what we went through, juggling
multiple jobs to make ends meet and provide for our kids — I couldn't be
more proud.
