The crypto industry and Trump are celebrating right now. Last week, a
Senate committee pushed ahead with the Clarity Act, a dangerous new
regulatory framework for digital currencies... written by crypto lobbyists
themselves. Now, those same lobbyists are racing to get this bill across

In his first year back in the White House, Trump and his family pocketed
at least $1.4 BILLION from insider crypto deals, while working-class
families saw grocery prices skyrocket. The Clarity Act includes ZERO

By focusing on this crypto bill right now, one thing is clear: Congress
has the wrong priorities. A new poll shows cryptocurrency is at the
*absolute bottom* of voters' concerns. But Members of Congress are fixated
on crypto for one reason: campaign cash. In 2024, the crypto lobby
outspent every other industry – and helped bankroll the defeat of members
of Congress like Senator Sherrod Brown.
Yet last week, Democrats on the committee joined Republicans in advancing
the bill. Why? Because the threat of tech and crypto money is terrifying
legislators into submission. And the industry is already gearing up for
2028.
