Dear John,
Today is World Humanitarian Day, the day when all of us come together to honor the incredible humanitarians helping those who need it most.
So many of our IRC team members are working around the clock right now in places like Beirut, Lebanon where a massive explosion devastated the city just two weeks ago.
Despite the dangers they face after disasters, in conflict zones, and now on the frontlines of COVID-19, humanitarian workers continuously step up to help so many people survive, recover, and rebuild their lives. These heroes are inspired by the families they serve, and we are inspired by them.
In honor of World Humanitarian Day, send a heartfelt message to a humanitarian hero today.
Your message of hope will be shared with frontline workers like Sohalia Khaliqi, an IRC hygiene promoter. Sohalia works tirelessly to ensure families have accurate information about COVID-19 and how it spreads so they can protect themselves and their loved ones.
"I feel privileged to have an opportunity to continue serving humanity." — Sohalia Khaliqi
