Washington’s perpetual gridlock is keeping federal-level progress on the climate crisis at a standstill, but whoever wins this race will have the power to decide whether communities can actually divest from fossil fuels, push forward a just transition to clean energy, and promote true environmental justice that protects people from corporate polluters.
