Our current Senator, Mike Rounds, has 100% name recognition across the state. Yet, his approval rating is hovering at a dismal 36%. Everyone knows him, and nearly two-thirds of the state is tired of him.

But 75% of South Dakotans still have no idea who I am.

We know from polling data that once voters learn my story—the retired Lt. Colonel, the JAG, the Park Ranger who refuses PAC money—this race flips. Our latest polling shows we immediately make this a neck-and-neck race with that bio information.

So the path to victory is simple: We have to introduce me to the other 75%.
