John, I just checked in with my team about our summer fundraising drive and I wanted to pass along the next update personally. We’re over halfway there, with just over 1 day left until the deadline!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how grateful I am that you are a part of our team. It’s hard to pay attention to everything that’s going on in our country these days, so I truly appreciate each person who takes the time to read updates from my team and me.

I didn’t run for Congress to get famous, or because of my last name. I ran to ensure this community has access to the opportunities that I did: to get an education, to provide for my family, and to give back. This is what drives me to keep fighting every single day.

The work we’re doing in Washington certainly won’t be completed in one two-year term. I’m in this for the long haul, but I know that it won’t be easy.

That’s why I’m so grateful for grassroots supporters like you, John, who step up to have my back when we reach out about fundraising goals and deadlines.
