Hala Ayala for Lt. Governor

John,

Yesterday marked the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women’s right to vote.

We’ve come so far since 1920, but it’s important to realize how far we still have to go.

I’ve been a champion for women in Virginia by supporting laws like the Equal Rights Amendment, and I’m ready to lead the next generation forward.

To celebrate the passing of the 19th Amendment, I’m asking you to chip in $19 to my campaign to help us get off the ground and win this election for women across the Commonwealth.

As an Afro-Latina woman, I celebrate the 19th Amendment while recognizing that we still have work to do.

Too many people of color, and women specifically, face barriers to voting that we must fight to remove for them and future generations.

I’m ready to lead the next generation of Virginians as we fight for progress. Will you join me today with a gift of $19?

Thank you,

Hala
