American society and the defining characteristics of American identity have evolved dramatically over the last century and have endured further changes in just the past months. Our panel of experts and thought leaders will address challenges facing minorities today, including how our policies and national rhetoric affect African-Americans, Latinos, and others. Panelists will explore our nation's long struggle with racism, examine the impact of U.S. immigration policies, and debate whether pluralism or particularism is winning the day.
