This new House bill would restrict Israel from deploying life-saving missile defense systems like Iron Dome, protecting its citizens from terror attacks, defending its eastern border, and protecting Jerusalem—including the Western Wall and the Temple Mount.
That is why we must continue to work with Congress to make the case that threatening Israel’s security has never, and will never, lead to peace.
We believe, and history has shown, that peace can only be achieved when America’s support for Israel is rock-solid, our ally feels safe, and Israel’s adversaries know that the Jewish state is strong.
The threats facing Israel are not going away.
Today, Iran continues to funnel money and weapons to terrorist groups, carry out cyberattacks against Americans and Israelis, and deny international inspectors access to suspected nuclear sites.
Meanwhile, Hamas and Hezbollah have more rockets and missiles combined than most militaries.
Israel’s enemies aren’t taking a day off – and neither can we.
As Israel continues to address mounting threats, we remain hard at work to educate and engage Congress about these pressing dangers and ensure America continues to stand with Israel with critical security aid.
