I’m proud to tell you that I am one of the 130 members of the House that support opening an impeachment inquiry to hold this President accountable for his assault on our common ideals.

Opening an impeachment inquiry against the President of the United States is not something I take lightly. For months, I’ve listened to the people of California, and heard their concerns about the state of our democracy.

And now, I’m proud to tell you that I am one of the 130 members of the House that support opening an impeachment inquiry to hold this President accountable for his assault on our common ideals.

Donald Trump has continually attacked our independent Federal Reserve and he’s brazenly invited Russian meddling in our elections. The American people deserve answers for his behavior, and it’s our job as members of the House of Representatives to provide them.

Our campaign is dedicated to doing what’s right, even if it’s not easy. Will you help us keep this movement going by chipping in $3 ahead of our end-of-month deadline today?

Many people have voiced concerns about the likelihood of what the Senate will do with impeachment proceedings. But frankly, that mentality is a self-fulfilling prophecy — if the House refuses to do its job and investigate, then Trump will still potentially get away with these crimes.

And if we refuse to go forward with proceedings, Trump will still tweet that it absolves him of crimes anyway. This shouldn’t be a political consideration — it’s about doing what’s right for the American people, and our democracy.

Thank you for standing with me, and I promise to continue fighting for you, and the future of this nation.

Sincerely,

Ro Khanna
