To vote in Delaware’s upcoming primary elections, voters must be registered with one of the two major political parties by May 29, 2026 . To vote in the Democratic Primary, you must be registered as a Democrat.

Delaware’s primary elections are September 15th, and early voting begins September 2nd. The full early voting period schedule is:
* September 2nd - September 5th: 7 am to 7 pm
* No voting on September 6th and 7th
* September 8th: 7 am to 7 pm
* September 9th - September 13th: 11 am to 7 pm
* Polling places are open on Primary Election Day, September 15th, from 7 am to 8 pm
