You and I are closer than we’ve ever been to forcing the feds to get a warrant before they can spy on us using FISA Section 702 as their authority.

As you’ll see, this NEW petition INSISTS your U.S. Representative oppose ALL warrantless Section 702 renewal bills ON EVERY VOTE including the procedural vote that brings it to the House floor.

Campaign for Liberty has a plan to FORCE the warrant requirement through the U.S. House.

But to succeed, all fake “reform” or “clean” renewal bills must FAIL the procedural vote – called a “rule” – that would bring warrantless 702 renewal to the floor for a final vote.

If you and I can FORCE the House to reject warrantless 702 renewal on the “rule” vote, they will have to add a warrant requirement . . . or just let 702 expire.

Traditionally, the minority party votes against any “rule” brought by the majority party, even if they support the underlying bill.

So based on the previous vote on this issue just a few weeks ago, we need just SIX Republicans to stand strong.

Patriot, we HAVE the votes for a warrant requirement, but it MUST be in the bill BEFORE it reaches the floor, not offered as an amendment after the fact.

Leadership on BOTH sides of the aisle have been playing fast and loose – making and breaking “deals” – and cannot be trusted on the “promise” of a vote on a good amendment on the floor!

Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) is the section of federal code the Deep State was caught red-handed abusing over and over and over . . . MILLIONS of times in the past several years.

It is only supposed to be used against foreigners living OUTSIDE the United States.

But they’ve been caught using Section 702 to stalk ex-girlfriends, target reporters, spy on dissident campaigns, and to scrutinize grassroots advocates and organizations like ours. . .

In ALL of these cases and MORE, the victims were Americans, living in America, and they were innocent of ANY crime!

Section 702 is what allows the NSA to surveil your emails, browser history, and chat logs and even listen in on your phone calls. It also allows other agencies, like the FBI, to search through your data and the data of other innocent Americans.

The Fourth Amendment requires the government to get a warrant and provide reasonable cause to look at your private information, but under Section 702 as currently written, the “intelligence” community believes they have a loophole to circumvent your rights.
