John,

I just helped make history and delivered my keynote at the 2020 Democratic National Convention alongside 16 other inspiring young leaders and rising stars within the Democratic Party.

I am proud to be in this fight with Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and with all of you. I’m asking you to chip in whatever you can right now to show your commitment to this fight and all the fights ahead.

I ran to represent North Texas to make sure that our government works for all our communities, and that our leaders reflect those communities.

Tonight I said that when I look around my district in North Texas, and I see the people who built this country. The educators like the single mom who raised me. The innovators and engineers who set us on a course to lead the world. The manufacturers building technology for the next generation of entrepreneurs. The men and women on the frontlines of our health care system. You built this country.

We are facing a consequential election with an outcome that could determine the future of our country for generations to come. And while the stakes are high, I remain hopeful -- and here’s why.

In 2018, we made history by electing a new generation of leaders that fight for the values we all share -- values I fight for everyday on behalf of North Texans. 2020 is our chance to make sure that mandate results in real, lasting change, and I know we can get it done.

But we can’t do this alone. We need our grassroots, people powered coalition. John, we need you by our side to win and continue the work of building a country that works for everyone. Can I count on you to chip in $25 to power this campaign through November?
