Friends —
We just finished up our final debate — where I had the honor to make the case for our movement’s progressive vision.
Now we have to finish the fight and make sure that voters across Massachusetts hear our message in these final two weeks.
I am proud of my record of passing more than 500 bills, and I’m not done yet.
That’s why I’m in this race. We need Medicare for All. We need the Green New Deal. We need justice — particularly for Black and Brown communities — and our agenda will help secure that for working people who have been left out and left behind.
Joe Kennedy did not respond with his own positive vision. Instead, he once again went for negative smears and deflected from the fact that he still has never made a clear, positive case for his candidacy.
The negative attacks from him and his family-backed super PAC aren’t going to stop now, so it’s up to all of us to work together to fight back. That’s why I need to ask for your support tonight:
We cannot let big-money backers of the status quo buy this seat, and our chance to compete is with small-dollar donations from people like you.
Families want something so basic and simple we almost shouldn't have to say it: you want your children to dream about the future instead of fearing it.
Let’s go fight for that, win this campaign, and secure justice for all.
- Ed Markey
At a time when so many are facing hardship and uncertainty, we understand if you cannot afford to donate right now. We are just grateful to be in this fight with you. Senator Markey and all of us on Team Markey are here for you — fighting for you. We will get through this together.
