Hi friend --
Last night, Michelle Obama gave us clear direction: “We have got to vote for Joe Biden like our lives depend on it... in numbers that cannot be ignored. Because right now, folks who know they cannot win fair and square at the ballot box are doing everything they can to stop us from voting.”
Thank goodness Michelle is fighting to stop them.
The former first lady’s initiative, When We All Vote, aims to make voting more accessible across the country. And 31 Mayors -- including Mayor Bottoms of Atlanta, Mayor Lightfoot of Chicago, and Mayor Boswer of DC -- have joined Obama in her mission.
Michelle Obama expressed her joy on Twitter, saying, “The ability to vote freely, fairly -- and safely -- is bigger than any single issue, party, or candidate. I’m so grateful that this bipartisan group of #CivicCities mayors are joining up with @WhenWeAllVote to make voting more accessible. This work couldn’t be more important.”
We couldn’t agree more and are supporting Michelle and her mission more than ever. Tell us if you’re with us (and her):
