I just wrapped up an interview with Joy Reid on MSNBC about the Democratic National Convention.

As I told Joy, this convention is our opportunity to show Americans that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the leaders we need to bring our country together. I told Joy that although I won't be speaking at the convention this week, I'm doing everything I can to support our nominees and Democrats across the country.

Since I won't be speaking at the convention, I'm asking you to help me get the message out about our people first movement. Can you pitch in whatever you can afford to support our People First candidates and send the message that we will build a future where every voice counts?

This is the most important election of our lives. We don't have a single vote to waste. In the next 75 days before Election Day, we need to do everything we can to get out the vote for our candidates.

I'm so proud of what we've already achieved together. We've helped great candidates like Mondaire Jones and Candace Valenzuela win their primaries. But the work isn't done.
