As the National Treasurer of Our Revolution, founder of my local Our Revolution chapter "Will County Progressives”, and a co-chair of our state chapter, Our Revolution Illinois, I am proud to represent Bernie Sanders as a delegate to the DNC!
To honor all of you who fought so hard to move Medicare for All from a fringe issue to something supported by over 80% of Democrats, I joined with progressive allies to vote NO on the 2020 party platform.
While we agree with Bernie 100% that Donald Trump is an authoritarian who poses an existential threat to our democracy, that doesn’t mean we’ll stop standing up to the Democratic Party when they side with corporate profits over the health and overwhelming sentiment of voters.

Last night, Bernie talked about the challenges we face and how critical this election is going to be in November. He laid out why we need to defeat Donald Trump — because a second Trump term would put all of the progress we made in jeopardy — and I couldn’t agree more.
