representing Alabama’s 2nd District in Congress. MAGA Republicans are
trying to wipe out democracy in Alabama by gerrymandering me out of

Extremist Republicans are finalizing a plan to redraw Alabama’s map beyond
recognition, breaking up my district so Republican seats can absorb it and
silence the voices of the people I was elected to represent.
But this isn't about one job. And it isn't about me.
Right now Republicans are targeting the voting power of Black people in
Alabama – who make up nearly one-third of the population. They are the
ones getting their representation, their voice, and their power stripped
away from them.
It’s a blatant power grab by the GOP, and they're dangerously close to
getting away with it. If we don’t fight back now, the damage could last
for decades to come. And as Democrats, we'd be foolish to think their
gerrymandering scheme wouldn't spread like wildfire beyond the South.
I'm doing everything I can to stop this, but fights like this take
resources, courage, and a grassroots army behind me. We need to get people
educated, registered and motivated to get out to vote, despite having the
odds stacked against us.
