Hey John -- we're just a few hours away from our mid-month deadline, and I have some good news and some bad news.

First, the bad news: as of right now, we're not on track to hit our $50,000 mid-month fundraising goal by midnight.

We can't afford to come up short, John. Mitch McConnell and his allies are spending over $50 MILLION in Iowa to attack me. He knows the fate of the Senate majority will be decided by what happens in Iowa, and he knows our grassroots team can win. But his vicious, false attacks are working -- the latest poll shows me three points behind my Republican opponent.

We need to hit this goal so we have the resources to counter McConnell's attacks and avoid slipping further behind.
