ICE is threatening mass immigration raids across the country any day now. And as we all know, immigrant detention facilities are already horrifically and catastrophically overcrowded. As a result, ICE is planning to use hotels as temporary detention for the immigrants it detains in the upcoming raids.
Hotels must not profit from the imprisonment of immigrant families, and hotel workers should not be turned into staff of makeshift detention centers. We’ve identified several major U.S. hotel chains with low-cost brands that ICE is likely to use. Please sign the petition and tweet at these hotel companies TODAY, including Best Western, Choice, Drury, G6 Hospitality, Hilton, InterContinental Hotels Group, Marriott, Red Roof and Wyndham.
