Friend - this past week, as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris joined together to take on Donald Trump in November, we've heard over and over again what our campaign has been saying since day one: We are in a battle for the soul of our nation. But that battle doesn't end with the presidency - it also includes taking back the Senate for Democrats.

A Democratic Senate is the only way we'll be able to make change in Washington. If we reelect Mitch McConnell and the GOP, they'll make sure that Biden and Harris are unable to pass legislation and make change we so desperately need. And with The Washington Post reporting that flipping Georgia blue is key to Democrats' chances of taking back the Senate, I mean it when I say a win here is absolutely critical.

Right now, we're running neck-and-neck with our extremist Republican opponent, Kelly Loeffler, a former Wall Street exec who has cashed in on her public office and leaned on racist, dog-whistle politics to get ahead. But Loeffler is dumping $20 million of her own fortune into our race to buy this seat for the GOP, and with only hours to go until our critical midnight deadline, we're falling $4,258 short of what we need to fight back. So please, friend, will you give $5 or more right now to help us flip Georgia blue and take back the Senate for Democrats?

The stakes couldn't be higher. Too many people in our state are without health care - during a global pandemic, no less. Our seniors are having to make the terrible choice between prescription drugs and food. Our hard-won voting rights are being suppressed on all fronts, and this election could be our last chance to prevent a far-right takeover of the Supreme Court.

I'm running to change all that - both in Georgia and across the country. It's been my life's work, and everyone from the polls to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight agrees that we CAN win. But Mitch McConnell has lined up the whole GOP establishment to pour MILLIONS into Georgia to buy this seat so they can keep their stranglehold on the Senate.

With this race statistically tied - and health care and the Supreme Court on the line - falling short now is simply not an option. That's why I'm personally asking: Will you give $5 or more right now to help us flip Georgia blue, restore the soul of this nation and take back the Senate for Democrats this November?
