With less than 80 days until the election, our campaign is revving up into full gear—yet even with all the work that’s required to run a successful campaign, we’re still keeping our focus on Community First.
Last Weekend: #HumanityFirst day at the Urban Partners LA Food Bank
David and the campaign team celebrated #HumanityFirst day by helping Urban Partners LA with their weekly food bank, where they serve over 1,000 families from the community every week. It was hot, it was sweaty, but ultimately it was so rewarding to do our part.
This Saturday: Our Ground Game begins!
This upcoming Saturday, August 22nd, we’ll be kicking off our Ground Game with a socially-distant event, and we’d love for you to be there. We’ll be following CDC guidelines by providing PPE and hand sanitizers.
Volunteer signups are limited to 5 people max per check-in time (sign-up link here). We'll be providing flyer materials, along with snacks and water, to each volunteer at check-in. Since we’ll be sending volunteers out to various parts of the district, car access would be a big plus.
This year’s race is incredibly winnable. This past primary, almost half of the district voted against the incumbent. With only a 3% uptick, we would win the race. That’s why every voice, every flyer, and every yard sign makes a difference. Speaking of which…
