I remember clearly the gas explosion of 2018 in Merrimack Valley that tragically killed a teen, left 23 people injured, and leveled 80 homes and businesses. The owner of the faulty gas line, NiSource, was forced out of the state entirely.

But just one day after NiSource came to a settlement with the family of the lost teen, the utility giant co-hosted a high-dollar fundraiser for Richard Neal.

In fact, NiSource is just one of the many utilities, oil, and gas corporations that have contributed to Neal’s massive corporate war chest. Just this cycle alone, Neal has received $120,250 from Utilities’ political action committees, according to the HuffPost.

We need a leader who will fight for a safer future for our communities, and that includes a future with a cleaner environmental impact. Richard Neal has proven that he isn’t that leader, so in 14 days I’m looking to replace him. Will you join me by making a contribution to power our grassroots movement to victory on September 1st?

It’s not surprising that Neal is the only member of the Massachusetts Congressional delegation to not support the Green New Deal. With the hands of so many polluters in your pockets, how could you fight for a cleaner environment?

But a Green New Deal just makes sense. Not only will it curb our environmental impact, preserving our planet for future generations to come, it will also create thousands of good jobs throughout the country.

We need a Green Neal Deal, and when I get to Congress I’ll start fighting to pass this key legislation on day one. But, I need your help right now to get there.
