We wanted to give you an update on the continued attacks we're witnessing against a critical American institution: the U.S. Postal Service.

Just two and a half months out from an election in which millions of voters plan to vote by mail due to this public health crisis, President Trump and his postmaster general, Louis DeJoy, are overseeing an all-out assault on the USPS.

Trump has admitted that refusing to fund the Postal Service could hurt mail-in voting this November. He's even called universal vote-by-mail "catastrophic." And we know why: he believes the easier it is for people to vote, the more likely he and Republicans will lose their elections.

While the President pushes lies and misinformation about the safety and security of mail-in ballots, his Postmaster General has cut overtime for postal workers, laid off staff, decommissioned hundreds of mail sorting machines, and removed public mail boxes in communities across the country. He's destroying this critical public service from the top-down.

As Cory has said before, this is mass voter suppression and a stress test for our democracy.

With the November 3rd election getting closer each day, we're running out of time to save the Postal Service and ensure any and every voter can make their voice heard through the mail.

The time for action is now. Join Cory in calling on Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to resign immediately and demand this administration fully fund the Postal Service.
