South Texas is one of the most competitive regions in the entire country — and national Republicans know it.
That’s why the Congressional Leadership Fund, a super PAC aligned with House Republican leadership, is already preparing to spend heavily against me.
They see this district as one of their best opportunities to expand their majority. And they believe that if they flood the airwaves with enough money and enough attacks, they can overwhelm our campaign and flip this seat.
They’re betting that grassroots supporters won’t be able to keep up.
I think they’re wrong.
This campaign has never been powered by Washington insiders or billionaire donors. It’s been powered by the people of South Texas — families who care about jobs, healthcare, public safety, and having a representative who actually knows this community.
But there’s no sugarcoating it: races this close can be decided by who has the resources to communicate with voters in the final months.
