From the day I launched my presidential campaign in the middle of a Minnesota blizzard to last night when I gave my speech to the Democratic Convention, one thing has always been clear: this is a historic moment and all of us must come together to seize on it.

As I traveled America during the primaries, I met so many people who are tired of the noise and the nonsense in our politics. Democrats, Independents and even moderate Republicans -- they want a leader who will heal this country and then, as Joe Biden says, build back better. That's what Joe's all about.

The proof is in his record: Joe has dedicated his life not to the politics of division, but to fighting for people just like you and me.

He fights for the mom who's trying to figure out how to stretch her paycheck to cover the rent. He fights for the dad who's doing everything he can to fill his prescriptions while still having enough left over to provide for his family. He fights for the kid who wants to go to college but doesn't know how to pay for it.

Joe Biden fights for you. So today, as the whole nation watches our Democratic Convention, let's fight for him and for Kamala Harris, a ticket that can beat Donald Trump and win this battle for the soul of this nation.
