Our friends at Border Patrol seize HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of pounds of illicit narcotics here every year, including the new favorite of the Mexican Cartels: fentanyl. More than 70,000 Americans died from overdoses last year, and many of those overdoses were from drugs laced with fentanyl. Location 3: This potential Job Site is in an area that is highly trafficked by illegal aliens. HUNDREDS of illegal aliens cross here DAILY, oftentimes without the help of cartels. Many illegal aliens use American welfare benefits and other government services, and collectively they cost the taxpayer BILLIONS annually.
