SIGN OUR PETITION NOW: “I support Gov. Cooper’s Clean Energy Plan!" >> [link removed]
John,
While too many North Carolinians still struggle to recover from Hurricanes Matthew and Florence, the remnants of yet another major hurricane could impact our coast later this weekend. It’s becoming clearer every day that we must act on climate.
Luckily, Gov. Cooper recognizes the urgency of our climate crisis. His Department of Environmental Quality released a bold new plan to eliminate carbon emissions from North Carolina’s power sector by 2050.
Their plan will save us from the worst effects of climate change, create good-paying jobs, and put more money in your pocket.
Tell Gov. Cooper you support his plan >> [link removed]
Anti-environment politicians and polluting special interests are already working to stop this plan from being implemented. We need as many North Carolinians as possible to let DEQ know the people have their back.
DEQ is seeking public comment through September 9th, so act fast!

This is exactly the plan we need to save the state we love and to protect our quality of life for future generations.
