Yesterday, Donald Trump visited Minnesota to shore up his right-wing base and flip our state red. Here are three things you need to know:

• Trump attacked Tina during his rally yesterday. He’s desperate to elect another GOP lapdog to do his bidding in the Senate — it’s clear that he will do and spend anything it takes to make that happen and flip Minnesota’s Senate seat.


• Trump said, “If we win Minnesota, it’s over.” And he promised a “big victory.” That’s why his campaign is spending more than $14 million here — he doesn’t want us slipping through his fingers again after losing by just 1.5 points in 2016.


• Our August fundraising is falling significantly behind where it needs to be. This is the absolute worst time for us to let Tina down. Especially during the closing months of this election — and while we’re locked in a statistical tie with our Republican opponent.
