For over ten years, SiX has organized the nation’s largest network of progressive state legislators—more than 1,800 members, representing nearly one in four state lawmakers nationwide. The State Action Summit will activate this network, forging collective power through strategic alignment, shared experience, and cross-state collaboration.

These past weeks, we have seen yet another cycle of intensified, coordinated authoritarian threats against our voting rights spread from the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Callais v. Landry ([link removed]) to Tennessee ([link removed]) , Florida ([link removed]) , Alabama ([link removed]) , South Carolina ([link removed]) , and Georgia ([link removed]) . We have also seen the cascading effects of the State of Louisiana v. Food and Drug Administration
([link removed]) ruling challenging access to mifepristone and how states ([link removed]) are the first to feel the impacts. States sit at the epicenter of progress and human rights, and we must strategize together to defeat these threats and build a better, more just future for all.

This is precisely the work we’ll be undertaking at this year’s State Action Summit!
