John --
You are invited to participate in a September 5-6
online Schiller Institute conference, entitled, "War Drive Towards
Armageddon Or a New Paradigm Among Sovereign Nations United by the
Common Aims of Mankind?"
The
conference will address the need to reverse the economic and strategic
failures of the last 50 years:
"...It is
now becoming more and more apparent to many forces throughout the
world, that Lyndon LaRouche’s 1971 warning was absolutely prophetic:
that Richard Nixon’s ending of the Bretton Woods System by replacing
fixed exchange rates with an international floating exchange rate
system, and his striking out on the path of monetarism would lead to
the danger of a new fascism, depression, pandemics, and war. It is
also clear that if the world is to escape from these very present
dangers, we must now implement the urgent reorganization of the world
financial and economic system in the tradition of Leibniz’s and
Hamilton’s physical economy that LaRouche had advocated for decades."

In May
1997, Lyndon LaRouche addressed the combination of forces that could
bring about such a reorganization. He proposed that the Presidents of
United States, China, Russia and other countries meet "..on one bright
Sunday morning, after a weekend meeting," and declare,
"We have
determined this weekend, based on our advisors, and the facts, that
the international financial and monetary system is hopelessly
bankrupt. And, we in our responsibility as heads of state, must put
these bankrupt institutions into bankruptcy reorganization, in the
public interest."
LaRouche
went on to say, "That means, we have, at that point, the impetus for
building, immediately, a new financial and monetary system." Those
nations would have the power to challenge, "the greatest power on the
planet, which is the British Empire" and replace it with a New Bretton
Woods.
The venue
for such a conference has emerged. Russia's President Putin has
proposed a summit of the five permanent members of the UN Security
Council (the "P5"), including the United States, Russia and
China.
