After multiple polls showed Jaime Harrison and Sen. Lindsey Graham within
the margin-of-error in South Carolina’s Senate race, the Cook Political
Report has upgraded our chances of flipping this seat blue.

It’s clear election forecasters are starting to see what we’ve been seeing
on the ground for months in South Carolina: Jaime has the platform, the
inclusive strategy, and the life experience to win this election.

He is building the kind of coalition of Black, brown, and progressive
white voters across South Carolina that it’s going to take to defeat
Lindsey Graham.

But big money is going to pour into South Carolina to stop him. Donald

Jaime isn’t like most people who run for the U.S. Senate. He grew up in
poverty but in a tight-knit community that helped one another, and
promised his family he would go to law school to one day give back and
help those who helped him.

After receiving a scholarship to Yale University and then attending
Georgetown Law, Jaime went on to make history by becoming the first
African-American chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party.

He’s running to deliver real change to communities like his. Communities
that have been left behind for far too long by the failed policies of
politicians like Lindsey Graham.
