Dear A.,

President Trump
[link removed]
announced today that he will be holding off on a planned military attack on Iran, which had been scheduled for tomorrow, because "serious negotiations are now taking place" for a deal that may be "very acceptable to the United States of America, as well as all Countries in the Middle East, and beyond. This Deal will include, importantly, NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS FOR IRAN!"

Meanwhile, over the weekend, the regime and its proxies launched a new wave of attacks on Gulf Arab countries. The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense
[link removed]
announced that it intercepted three drones yesterday, "entering the Kingdom's airspace coming from Iraqi airspace."

The U.S. recently
[link removed]
imposed sanctions on Iraqi Deputy Oil Minister Ali Maarij Al-Bahadly, who has abused his position to sell oil on behalf of the regime and its proxies, including Iraqi militias.

Also yesterday, three drones were launched at the UAE: Two were intercepted, and another struck an Emirati nuclear energy facility.

Emirati diplomatic adviser Anwar Gargash
[link removed]
said that the "terrorist targeting of the Barakah clean nuclear power plant, whether carried out by the principal perpetrator [Iran] or through one of its agents, represents a dangerous escalation and a dark scene that violates all international laws and norms, in criminal disregard for the lives of civilians in the UAE and its surroundings."

As the regime continues its attacks across the region, it has continued its campaign of brutality against its own people, stepping up the
[link removed]
number of executions it's conducting . Since mid-March, more than 15 Iranians have been executed, including three in one day earlier this month.

This comes as a new report was released showing that over
[link removed]
2,100 people were executed in Iran in 2025, more than double the number in 2024.

TOMORROW: Ed Gallrein looks to unseat Rep. Thomas Massie

Tomorrow, AIPAC-endorsed former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein will look to unseat one of the most anti-Israel members of Congress, Rep. Thomas Massie, in the Republican primary for Kentucky's 4th Congressional district.

The Editorial Board of the National Review published an
[link removed]
op-ed today about how 'Thomas Massie Deserves to Lose.'

"Like most right-wing conspiracy theorists, he has no use for Israel. Massie is a genuine isolationist, who opposes even sanctioning other countries, but his opposition to Israel is bitterly irrational. He boycotted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to Congress and claims that every member of Congress has an AIPAC minder. He opposes all aid to Israel, even for Iron Dome, and routinely votes against pro-Israel resolutions. A couple of years ago, he posted a meme saying that Congress has turned its back on American patriotism in favor of Zionism. It’s telling, if not surprising, that a pro-Massie super PAC is running an ad in the race that portrays the billionaire investor and anti-Massie donor Paul Singer, who is Jewish, alongside a rainbow-colored Star of David."

"We hope that the district’s voters on Tuesday will send Massie to a well-earned retirement, giving him the opportunity to join ally Marjorie Taylor Greene in airing their grievances and wild-eyed theories in the private sector."

Op-ed: 'A Miscarriage of Journalism at The New York Times'

Federal judge Roy K. Altman, author of the new book, Israel on Trial, penned an
[link removed]
op-ed in The Free Press, explaining how Nicholas Kristof's opinion piece published last Monday by The New York Times broke the "fundamental rules of fairness and due process that sustain our democracy."

"Nicholas Kristof’s recent essay about supposed Israeli sex crimes against Palestinian detainees is a travesty... because it embraces the erosion of democratic norms at an inflection point in our history."

"Today, this whole system is being undermined by the proliferation of false information — especially on the internet... [but] for The New York Times, a supposed “paper of record,” and one of its Pulitzer Prize–winning journalists to offer a story that — in its disregard of basic evidence-gathering norms, its unwillingness to investigate the opposing side’s position, and its inversion of common sense — violates the fundamental rules of fairness and due process that have, for centuries, served as the xxxxxx of our democracy."

"The timing of the essay is itself troubling. Weeks ago, the independent commission charged with investigating, and reporting on, Hamas’s widespread use of sexual violence against Israelis on October 7 informed the Times that it would be releasing its report on Hamas’s egregious sex-crimes violations on or around May 12 [last Tuesday]."

"In law as in logic, we can and should use a party’s conduct in deciding whether we believe what the party has to say... On the merits, Kristof’s article violates three central precepts of our legal system: It disregards basic rules of evidence gathering; it refuses to investigate the opposing side’s views; and it ignores logic and common sense."
