# [#]This is a five-alarm fire, Friend.
This morning Trump announced he would drop his lawsuit against the IRS—an agency he controls—in exchange for creating a $1.7 BILLION taxpayer-funded slush fund to pay out his criminal allies, including the people who stormed the Capitol on January 6th.
Make no mistake: this corrupt slush fund is illegal – and we will fight it with everything we have. I will explain more in a second, but first, we need your help…
Can you chip in $5, $15, or $25 to help us BLOCK this illegal slush fund to pay out Trump’s criminal allies? American taxpayers cannot be on the hook for this illegal scheme. [[link removed]]

Friend – here’s the backstory:
After Trump’s tax returns were leaked, he sued the IRS for $10 billion. But after a judge demanded answers on Trump’s conflict-of-interest overseeing the IRS, the DOJ – which is now run by Trump’s former criminal defense lawyer – rushed to settle the case with Trump.
And today they announced that they would steal $1.77 BILLION in taxpayer dollars to settle with Trump – creating a slush fund that would be used to pay out Trump allies who claim to have been mistreated by the Biden DOJ.
Under this settlement, ANY of Trump’s allies could make a claim – from criminals like Steve Bannon and Roger Stone, to the insurrectionists who sacked the Capitol on January 6th.
We MUST block this corrupt, illegal slush fund before it’s too late.
House Democrats are using every tool, from legislative maneuvers to legal actions, to block these funds — and we are starting TODAY. But we need your help to get the word out.
Can you chip in $5, $15, or $25 to help us block this creation of this slush fund before it’s up and running? We can defeat this corrupt scheme in Congress and in the courts – but we can’t do it without your help. [[link removed]]
