Wow, this has been a crazy year. A year ago, I never imagined that a campaign started by the mayor of the small town of Elburn would grow into one of the most competitive congressional races in Illinois.

However, this race is getting closer every day. Political experts once believed Democrats had a comfortable advantage in this district. Now, they’re saying this district is becoming much more competitive and could realistically be won by Republicans with the right support and momentum. We are even hearing rumors that the experts may even change the official rating on this race.

This means we have a real opportunity to defeat Bill Foster and bring new leadership to this district - but only if we have the resources to compete.
