Team: We wanted to check back in on this request from Ed. We must bring in another $20,000 for Ed's campaign before the bank closes, and right now we're about 73% of the way there.

Will you rush $ or more and help us close the gap before 5 pm?

Read more from Ed Markey:

August has been a big month for my campaign.

First, my friend and partner in the Senate, Elizabeth Warren, endorsed my reelection campaign.

Then, 116 Massachusetts State Senators and Representatives -- 72% of the state legislature -- endorsed my campaign.

Now, we've also received the endorsements from NARAL Pro-Choice America, the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund, and the Sunrise Movement.

I'm humbled to have the support of so many friends and colleagues across Massachusetts for re-election.

But our work for victory is just getting started, and right now we need to show momentum and grassroots strength with our upcoming end-of-month fundraising deadline.

Before the banks close today, we need to bring in another $20,000 to fuel my campaign, and I hope you'll join me by making a $27 today.

From here on out, it's absolutely crucial that we hit every fundraising goal.

The RNC raised more than DOUBLE what Democrats raised last month.

That right-wing cash will make its way into Senate races like mine to fund relentless attacks.

If we're going to withstand the RNC's fundraising surge, we have to raise another $20,000 before the bank closes today.

Our online supporters are our best chance to help us reach this goal by 5 pm. Can I count on you to rush $27 or more?

Before the bank closes, rush $27 or more to my campaign and help me stay in the fight for our values. We can't afford to miss a single deadline.
