Friends,
Are you a climate voter? You're not alone.
As the effects of climate change become increasingly difficult to
ignore, the climate voter is on track to become one of the fastest
growing electoral demographics. In 2016, just roughly 2% of voters
listed climate change as their top priority. In 2019, 12% of voters
were most concerned about climate, and 42% of all registered voters
considered climate change "very important."
Politicians are paying attention. Many of the 2020
presidential candidates devoted considerable time to promoting their
climate plans. A few weeks ago, the MA State House advanced a bill
creating a roadmap to a carbon neutral Massachusetts—an important step,
though it didn't go far enough. And just yesterday, Michelle Wu
released a Green New Deal plan for Boston.
We have the power. The Environmental Voter Project believes climate conscious
citizens can become a key voting bloc whose influence rivals
the NRA. Together, we can demand that action be taken to
create a sustainable society before it's too late. Keep scrolling for

future.
