John, a new poll released on Friday showed that VA-05 is a virtual tie.

In what was long thought to be a Republican stronghold, Cameron is only two points behind Bob Good -- well within the margin of error. The fact that we remain in a statistical dead heat, even after national Republicans began to get involved in VA-05 following the primary, speaks volumes about the success of our grassroots outreach to voters all across the district.

13 percent of voters are undecided according to the poll, and our plan is to use the coming weeks to reach them, engage them, and persuade them.

We know that Cameron's empathetic, issue-focused message is what voters are looking for, so if we have the resources to properly introduce him to more people, we'll have a clear path to victory.
