Early voting in Texas’ Democratic primary starts today, and as folks are casting their early ballots, I’m facing baseless, misleading attacks from my runoff opponent.

Texas’ 33rd District is my home, and you can bet I’m going to fight like hell for it. 

It’s where I was born and raised by my single mother. It’s where I attended public schools. And it’s where my wife, Aly, and I are raising our two boys.

My journey from North Texas to the NFL to Congress is anything but ordinary – and I’m fighting for kids and families across this district to have the same opportunities I had growing up.

But none of this will be easy, and unfortunately, we’re running out of time to reach the voters we need to win. That’s why I’m turning to you, friend.
