Yesterday, according to the Washington Post, “a crowd of thousands transformed a block of the National Mall into an evangelical-style worship service at an event backed by President Donald Trump and funded with millions of tax payer dollars.” At the same time here on Substack, we partnered with The Save America Movement and The Joy Reid Show to screen a documentary that traces the political movement that has distorted our faith to rally people behind policies that are the antithesis of what Jesus taught.
