Dear John,

I’m sure you’ve seen the headlines by now — in an attempt to sabotage our election, President Trump has launched an all out attack on the USPS by blocking its funding, removing mail drop boxes, and laying off postal workers.

Our mail shouldn’t be involved in these ugly politics — I’ve been getting calls and emails all week from seniors and veterans who can’t get their medications because of the slow down. Innocent people are now becoming collateral damage because of the President’s attempt to steal the election.

This weekend I will join my colleagues in voting for emergency legislation to protect the postal service from intentional sabotage by this administration. To learn more about the legislation please click here.
