If you are a parent, or even if you aren’t, you’ve likely followed the ups and downs of this unprecedented back-to-school season. Some schools have shifted to remote learning, while others are welcoming students back to the classroom with extensive safety plans in place. It has been a stressful situation for parents to navigate, and it’s no different for the parents of children we serve around the globe. In recent months, shelter-in-place policies left more than 200,000 children we serve unable to receive our nutritious meals in a school setting. Some of these students are gradually heading back to their classrooms, but no matter what “back to school” looks like this year, access to a nutritious lunch is critically important for kids on their journey out of hunger and poverty. Will you donate today to set kids in crisis up for success this year? In areas where schools remain closed, our in-country meal distribution partners have found creative ways to ensure kids receive our nutritious meals on a regular basis. Please give now to provide nutritious meals and ongoing support for children at risk during the global health crisis. |
