Wednesday's vote was a stunning pro-life victory. 85 TDs voted against the Social Democrats' bill, 30 voted in favour. The three-day wait is safe, for now.
A huge part of that result came down to you. The lobbying effort in the 72 hours before the vote made a decisive difference, and TDs heard from pro-life supporters right across the country.
