GOD'S CHILDREN ARE NOT FOR SALE

A few weeks ago, I stood on a stage to receive the Catholic Champion Award. 

It was a humbling moment. 

But as I held that award in my hands, I was not thinking about Hollywood. 

I was thinking about the children. And the millions of people who have joined this fight to protect them. 

My name is Eduardo Verástegui. 

I am a producer, actor, and founder of the Sound of Freedom Foundation. 

Years ago, after hearing firsthand stories about children trapped in trafficking, my life changed forever. 

What I learned broke my heart. 

Children were being bought and sold for profit. 
Families were being destroyed.

And most people had no idea this evil even existed. 

That is why I helped produce the film Sound of Freedom. 

Not for fame. 
Not for awards. 

But because I believed people needed to see the truth. 

For years, many in Hollywood said the movie would never succeed. 

Doors closed. 
Studios walked away. 
People told us to give up. 

But we refused. 

Because when innocent children are suffering, silence is not an option.

Today, the Sound of Freedom Foundation continues that mission beyond the movie screen. 

We exist to stop the sale of God’s children and protect vulnerable children from exploitation and trafficking. 

This work is real. 

Every day, traffickers target children who are vulnerable, isolated, poor, or forgotten. 

And every day, we fight back through prevention, rescue support, education, awareness, and advocacy.

And we push leaders to take stronger action against those who profit from abuse. 

Jesus said, 

“Let the little children come to me… for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)

I believe every child is created by God with dignity, value, and purpose. 

And I believe we are called to protect them and that's why I am reaching out to you today.
