Dear Friend,
I’ve been working for President Clinton for more than 30 years, starting when I was hired as a temp in the governor’s office in Arkansas. Throughout that time, I’ve never stopped being inspired by his determination to improve people’s lives.

Tomorrow is President Clinton’s 74th birthday, and while so much has changed over the years, his spirit of generosity has not. As the special assistant for personal correspondence in the White House, I once came across a letter he wrote when he was 15 years old, long before he embarked upon his political career. In it, he wrote about how much he wanted to help people — all people. From Arkansas to the White House to the Clinton Foundation, he has dedicated his life to doing just that.

Now more than ever, it is an honor to work alongside him and our Clinton Foundation colleagues every day to continue his childhood mission of bringing people together to help others.
