I endorsed Joe Biden for the same reasons that I ran for president: I believe we need to cross the rivers of our divides and elect a president for all of America. As I said the day I endorsed him, “If you feel stuck in the middle of the extremes in our politics, if you are tired of the noise and the nonsense, you have a home with me. And you have a home with Joe Biden.”

I was honored to speak at the Democratic convention last night in support of my good friends Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. They each have the experience and character we need in the White House and I can’t wait to elect them as the next president and vice president of the United States!

Last night we heard a lot about how we can unite as Americans. About our shared values. Our shared dreams. How we’ve come together in the face of crisis.

But I want to be clear: Unity isn’t about settling. It’s about striving for something more. It isn’t the end, it’s the means. It’s how we get stuff done.

At this historic moment we must also come together to elect Democrats up and down the ballot and all across the country who will work with our president to put the country back on the path to progress. Will you help to do that by donating right now?
