The National Republican Chair went on NYC talk radio and said that President Trump himself told him to go after Tom’s seat.
He said they “have the resources to fight,” that they’re “going to obliterate” their opponents, and that they’ll “do whatever it takes” and “win at all costs.”
This race was already going to be one of the most competitive in the country. Trump won here by 19,000 votes in 2024. They’re already spending money against Tom.
