Fellow Conservative,

Knock Knock... Anyone home? Once again, a Republican Senate is missing in action. This time it’s in South Carolina.
South Carolina Update

Word on the street is that some South Carolina Senate Republicans don’t care about representing the will of their constituents…

During regular session, the State Senate refused to take up redistricting by a vote of 29-17 (falling short of the two-thirds threshold needed), despite having the perfect opportunity to do so. That's why on Thursday Governor McMaster called for a special session to draw new congressional districts and replace their racially gerrymandered map. This would allow South Carolinians to have more accurate representation in D.C.

Essentially; he told them to get back to work.

You may be thinking, who would oppose such a no brainer? Well, a handful of state legislators who would apparently rather grandstand than legislate.

Why?
This fight has just begun, but of course, nothing can be easy.

The American People are watching. Will South Carolina rise to the occasion and be the next Florida? Or will they disappoint and be the next Indiana?

The Post-Callais Scramble Is Still On

The Supreme Court’s ruling in Callais dramatically reshaped the legal terrain around race and congressional maps, and almost instantly the redistricting race was cranked up to an 11. We are seeing progress in some states and roadblocks in others. Alabama and Missouri are well on their way to pick up another seat, as South Carolina Republicans are entering a special session to do the same. Meanwhile, Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves canceled the state’s redistricting session saying there was no need for it now. But every seat is critical when considering whether the GOP will hold the House in November.

Other Republican-led legislatures are now openly exploring new maps designed to maximize congressional gains before 2026 and ahead of 2028:

South Carolina’s redistricting efforts with the attempt to remove the one Democratic seat in the state was blocked by five Republican Senators. This isn’t over yet. Stay tuned.

-

Missouri’s new congressional map was upheld by the Supreme Court with an estimated GOP pickup of one seat.

-

Alabama looked to use its 2023 map that only has one majority-black district, but a panel of judges considered blocking this map a second time after the Supreme Court vacated its first injunction on Monday. This could result in an extra Republican seat. Governor Kay Ivey announced an August 11 special primary for four of the state’s seven congressional districts.

-

SCOTUS recently ruled that Louisiana’s congressional map was an unconstitutional gerrymander. Maps are forthcoming and likely to be complete by the week of May 18. Gov. Landry signed an executive order postponing the state’s May 16 House primaries to allow lawmakers to redraw the congressional map. Reportedly, the governor wants a 5-1 map, while the legislature wants a 6-0 map.

In Mississippi, Governor Tate Reeves canceled the special session on redistricting.
Deport Deport Deport

Conservative leaders and activists have long questioned the ability of Sharia Law to conform with the U.S. Constitution, now Congress is raising those concerns in committee hearings.

Does betraying American founding principles in favor of radical Islam sound compatible to our way of life? We say no.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) said it best:
This kind of mass migration <[link removed]>—both legal and illegal—only harms our country and national identity. Only one side seems to recognize that. The Left has continued to harbor fugitives that pose a risk to our neighborhoods and our way of life.

How bad is it really?

In another hearing, we learned that 20% of the entire population of Fairfax County, the largest county in Virginia, is eligible for deportation or lives with someone eligible for deportation. This doesn’t even include those who are here under bogus “protected status.”
Innocent blood continues to be spilled <[link removed]> thanks to Fairfax County and other sanctuary jurisdictions.

Americans demand mass deportations. It’s up to Washington D.C. to get it done.
Reminder: Your Financial Privacy and Freedom are at Risk

President Trump rightly recognized the threat posed by a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), banning it by Executive Order <[link removed]>, as did the House when they passed H.R. 1919 <[link removed]>, the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act. However, the Senate has so far refused to take up the bill, both as a standalone measure or as part of a large package—Leader Thune has even suggested that any bill with full CBDC restrictions that protect your financial privacy is “dead on arrival” in the Senate due to Democrat opposition.

The House recently attached a ban on CBDCs to an otherwise clean extension of the controversial Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). In other words, the House passed a bill that many Senators had been clamoring for, with one small but critical addition. Yet, instead of even bothering to debate the merits of that addition, Leader Thune sidestepped the bill without as much as a vote and instead demanded the House pass a different Senate bill.

Leader Thune and many Senate Republicans claim to oppose a CBDC. Ask yourself this: would it be so hard for them to show it?
