Are you with us, John? [HELL YEAH 🙌 <[link removed]>] And if you need a reminder of why today is so important... ⬇️
Julie & the Dirty Business cast have a message for you, John
[Julie Maughan <[link removed]>]
Julie Maughan "I lost my daughter Heather to dirty water, and I will not stop fighting until no other family has to go through what mine has. This government has had every opportunity to fix the broken water system and chosen not to. People are getting seriously ill and families are afraid to get in the water. That's why I'll be paddling out in Falmouth today, alongside thousands of people across the UK standing up for their right to swim without getting sick."
[Tom McKay in Dirty Business <[link removed]>]
Tom McKay "Making Dirty Business meant living inside the grief of a real family. Heather Preen died an avoidable death from dirty water. Her mum Julie has been fighting for justice for 25 years. We cannot let the Government ignore the public's anger. Dirty Business told the truth about what sewage pollution costs real families. Now the Government must take action. I'll be paddling out today and I hope you can too.”
[Posy Sterling in Dirty Business <[link removed]>]
Posy Sterling “Playing the role of a woman who endured such unimaginable loss means I stand with Julie until this fight is won. We must show the Government they can no longer stand by whilst polluters profit and swimmers get sick. I'll be paddling out at Southend-on-Sea today and I urge everybody to find a protest near them and get involved. This issue impacts us all, and we have a once-in-a-generation chance to ensure that action is taking to prevent stories like Heather’s from ever happening again.”
